Our Pop Art Portrait of Frankenstein's monster combines two light areas of graduated color in contrast with the dark tone of the figure. The light tones of the face blend from yellow to green while the background blends from yellow to red. The yellow common to both areas creates an atmospheric glow that unifies the figure and its background.
In our Pop Art Group Portrait of Frankenstein's monster, the colors are limited to strident yellows, reds and greens which noisily clash to evoke the anxiety and discomfort of this tragic creature.
You will find all the instructions in our Pop Art Portrait Lesson Plan.
You can also cut up the template into its 20 squares to use in our Pop Art Group Project. This is a collaborative artwork for up to 20 people where each participant completes an individual section of the image which is then assembled with the others to create a unique work of art.
You will find the instructions for this lesson in our Pop Art Group Project.
These templates are free to copy and print to help you with drawing a Pop Art Portrait.
