Pop Art Portraits - Frankenstein
As a support for our Pop Art Portrait Lessons, we have created two examples using our free template of Frankenstein which you may download and adapt for your own ideas.
Our Pop Art Portrait of Frankenstein's monster combines two light areas of graduated color in contrast with the dark tone of the figure. The light tones of the face blend from yellow to green while the background blends from yellow to red. The yellow common to both areas creates an atmospheric glow that unifies the figure and its background.
Pop Art Group Project - Frankenstein
In our Pop Art Group Portrait of Frankenstein's monster, the colors are limited to strident yellows, reds and greens which noisily clash to evoke the anxiety and discomfort of this tragic creature.
