Our Pop Art Portrait of 'Ollie', one half of the great comedy duo Laurel and Hardy, uses warm and cheerful primary colors with an appropriately patterned backdrop to create an image of friendliness and fun.
In our Pop Art Group Project of Oliver Hardy, the dark tones were composed of bold colors that were randomly applied whereas the light tones were created by alternating bright yellow and light blue. The combined effect is a cheerful composition of colors that reflect the mood the subject.
You will find all the instructions in our Pop Art Portrait Lesson Plan.
You can also cut up the template into its 20 squares to use in our Pop Art Group Project. This is a collaborative artwork for up to 20 people where each participant completes an individual section of the image which is then assembled with the others to create a unique work of art.
You will find the instructions for this lesson in our Pop Art Group Project.
These templates are free to copy and print to help you with drawing a Pop Art Portrait.
